You've discovered Play Therapy!

A proven recognised form of child psychotherapy for 4-12 year olds. Play Therapy has been developed worldwide as a result of decades of evidence based research. It is rooted in theoretical knowledge of how children think, feel, respond, react and process their emotions.

Every child can benefit from Play Therapy in one way or another. Play is at the heart of how children communicate and learn about the world around them. It can make sense of thoughts and feelings they don’t yet have appropriate words to describe.

Play Therapy offers children an opportunity to take time to explore what's happening in their lives. The Play Therapy room provides a safe, welcoming space with no pressure, demand or expectations. This allows freedom to process who they are at their own pace, fully uninhibited.
I have witnessed first hand the powerful transformation possible for children when given time, the tools and opportunity to play therapeutically.

When a child begins a journey into therapy it is because the adults around them recognise the time has come to reach out for specialist help, whatever the reason.
It's important to remember that therapeutic work isn't a 'quick fix'. It is a process that can requires time and patience to achieve best outcomes.
